Well this was a special trip for myself and my family. But, it came with complications. A week before Thanksgiving, I had my appendix out so we were not sure if I was even going to be able to go on the trip, but I was given the all clear!

We went to celebrate my cousin’s Bat Mitzvah and before you ask, no, I am not Brazilian but my cousins are. Those parties are WILD! It was a lot of fun and I got to see some family that I haven’t  seen in 18 years. We went to the beach, Gramado, Caracol, and other places such as malls. The food was absolutely amazing but I think I might be done with buffets and red meat for awhile. 

My family made me feel really welcomed and always made sure we knew what we were doing and were we were going. We have a lot of inside jokes and now we have even more from this trip. I will always remember this one!
