Well, this was certainly a vacation for the ages!

I went out to Arizona to watch some baseball, and along the way, I stumbled upon an Air Force Base and also visited a Cactus Botanical Garden. Can you spot the special guest?

We also went to a park with some AMAZING views, which was pretty cool too!

Once I got home, I checked out DeKorte/Richard W. DeKorte Park and Riker Hill Park on one day. Not much activity, but still fun to play around with the new camera.

The next day, I went to Forsythe, and it was WINDY—which made it cold—but I saw my first Osprey of the year (always a delight!) along with some new birds and ducks I’d never seen before.

Then a friend told me about the moon rising before the eclipse and—WOAH! I’m so happy with how those shots came out. I’m totally in love with this new camera, and my energy for photography has been completely re-energized!
